How to Hand Sign a Document
If a party chooses to print and manually sign a document, follow these steps:
View the applicable Inventory or Deal record and navigate to the Documents page. If the document you want is not currently displayed, click the Add Documents button and add the applicable document.
Select the document to be hand signed then select the Hand Sign button under Options.
Select the party or parties that hand signed, then input the Date the document was signed next to the applicable signing party and click on Record Dates.
Once you have recorded hand signed dates, if you View the document, you will notice in the signature block area a stamp that displays “HandSigned in Counterparts”, similar to the image below:
We always recommend that you scan the actual hand signed document and upload it to the Uploads page so there is a copy on file for future reference, see help article How to Upload a Document.
